Members,

Just a quick reminder that this evening we're having a talk on "Symmetry and the Monster" given by its author Mark Ronan. He's going to talk about how over the course of the last century mathematicians classified all the finite simple groups. It's perhaps more interesting than it sounds on the surface, these groups are the building blocks of symmetry.

Afterwards we're going to retire to common room, for food, drink and the chance to ask Mark questions.

It all gets started at 5:15pm tonight, in MS.02.
