The New Year

Hello Members!

Thank you for joining The Warwick Mathematics Society for this year. We've got lots planned, and we'll usually use email and the website to keep you informed.

We're currently finalising when Maths Cafe and the LaTeX courses are starting, but we'll let you know when we've worked everything out!

On Wednesday evening, we're holding The Integrating Factor in the staff common room. There's a free drink for the first 50 people to arrive, it all gets going at 7:30pm. More details to follow.

A little advanced warning on this one: Mark Ronan will be giving a talk about his new book Symmetry and the Monster on Monday, Week 5. Mark will be around at the end to answer questions, more details on our website.

On the website, we've got a forum for Maths it's read by some quite clever people, so if you're having trouble with assignments or have questions about maths, just post in there. You can use LaTeX to write equations, which makes it really easy.

Till next time!
