Hello :-) I just wanted to say that the social the other night was great. Co-prime was sheer genius! All you stop-at-homes really missed a treat. Our estimed president yelling 'drink' and 'factorise'... well! hehe. Thanks for organising it Tom.

I have to agree with this chap! It was great! And Mr Wood, you are a legend, velvet suit, co-prime, what more could you want? Also thanks Tom.

Thanks very much! Steve and Tom did a great job.

Coprime was fun, wasn't it?

I had a great time :D Twas the unholy trinity of maths, beer, and kickass music (RATM? Audioslave?! Reel Big Fish?!!) that made the night awesome.

Anyone know any results/theorems about co-primality that might make the game easier? I was struggling in places :)

The Integrating Factor was awesome: Thanks are due to all who attended for thoroughly good maths banter and excellent company. Week four should be much the same sort of shenanigans (After discussion groups we're thinking maybe "A quiet drink in the common room" followed by maths wildness at top B {-Thoughts?}).

Really looking forward to more coprime ("Pi!!!"), though as cj said, it is getting kinda hard: clearly someone needs to prove the Riemann Hypothesis pretty sharpish!

By the way- I don't s'pose anyone knows a bar with space for a blackboard???!!!!

-Love ya team, Tom

I'll also jump in with the thanks to Tom, it was a hell of a lot better than I expected from the maths society, and hopefully this is just the start of getting more and more people to the socials :) Also, thanks Christian for the comments on the music - I think I just managed to pull it off having not DJed for like a year and a half :)

Looking forward to week 4, I'll see if I can come up with a few ideas for it ;)

Now. Time for forum Coprime - I'll start:

Well, I was wondering, is the social tonight (Monday wk 4) still going ahead?

And err - 7 to your 60.

Sorry dude, we scrapped the social coz we didn't have anything interesting to do with you...

(A few of us did get nicely tiddly after Discussion Groups though)

But fear not, plans are well in the pipeline for our next one (circa week 6)! Watch this space!
