Academic Support Team

Welcome to the Academic support team section.

Joining us will put you straight onto our mailing list/committee, from there you'll be able to help with all of our (rather distinctly fab) events including maths/revision cafe and revision groups (spread the knowledge kids!).

You'll also be at the forefront of the decision making process for all of our exciting adventures (we're planning a university assessed course dontcha know...).

So join up and give something back, hone your teaching skills in the field and crusade against sundry stupidity in all of its many mathematical forms.

If you're already a member: get gone to the forums, let the banter begin...

Term 2

This was looking a bit shoddy, so I figured I'd fix it up...

We're still running business as usual, with maths cafe more hectic than ever and problems laying seige from all sides, but it's an exciting time to be part of the team.

The course is still on track(ish) for next year. Learning to teach through workshops, classes and getting hands dirty at maths cafe may soon be a much catted occupation. Departmennts are juggling us about, but we'll persevere, and joining now could mean you'll be there to shape a full uni course.

Term 3

Apologies for my months in silence... technophobia has alas kept me at arms length thus far. But no longer!

We have many exciting prospects coming up in term 3.

  • Revision cafe- like revision. But better.
  • Revision groups- revision lectures by the people for the people.
  • Many plans in the pipeline- including: "a crash course in..." and our module (still very much on the cards!...)

Join us and feel the full force of our mathematical do-goodery...
