Dude, I'm so happy for you! You've actually been looking for this book for at least a year... Now you've found it, it's like the end of an era. ...Hang on, it is, I'm bloody graduating. Saying goodbye to maths feels like a death sentence. I'll flunk my exams! work under Bruce Westbury! Anything!!! (except stats) Selfish b**tard, with your axiom of choice book and your year carving beautiful, unerasable and unrefined truth from logic's fickle clay. I was once like you! I was once like you! I hate the real world. Enjoy the book. |

Tom, your time at Warwick will be remembered down the ages, long after we are but motionless sleepers in the ground. It will be seen as a time of momentous change, of great thought, of lectures in pyjamas, and of quaffing of fine(ish) wine (usually red). Boardman will no longer be seen merely as the combination of a board and a man, but as a great hero, standing proudly amongst the great characters of history. But above all, your time at this fine mathematical establishment will be remembered as a era of great friendship and silly maths jokes. I'll miss you, dude! |

I can't help noticing that Buggs and dimida have very similar writing styles. They even share the habit of using spam instead of content. |

Who keeps doing that? Stop it please - it's been going on for so long now I shouldn't think anyone would find it funny anymore, and it doesn't make the forums look very inviting you know. (I await with resignation the appearance of another post on the forums which uses the above words.) |

Oh it's so nice to know that you're still there for us Colin, for the time being at least. Will you have much time left for us when you're off doing toaster theory etc..? |
