I used a drawing package to do some diagrams for my second year essay, it could do ruler and compass constructions (amongst other things.) I've since lost all details of the program (including the program itself) just wondering if anyone had stumbled upon anything similar?

And hence all our socks, since you are the secretary of said socks.

Indeed, and as Cosmin said to me after my "line segements of Steel" comment: welcome to the threadlockers' club.

That's an unimpressive entry though, since he did nothing to lock the thread... (in fact I'm fairly confused as to why it's been locked at all). I still hold the record with two last posts in locked threads anyway. :p

Well that's mod rule #1, very long threads are restrictive to new users. However that thread stayed on topic, perfectly... rather unlike this one. Back on topic though, how about trying to copy patterns with a single line. Need some rules of course.
  • Lines must start from a midpoint or a vertex on one of the drawn cells
  • Lines must end either
    • by bringing the line to the mid point or vertex of a drawn cell
    • or by making the line touch it's own endpoint in another cell

Try this one out for size

it's a cool toy that's been found, but there's not much discussing to do.
