a brief over view of the course,
an empathesis on theorems that can be used on both groups and rings.
Explanation of key theorems.

Could you spend 5 mins or so whizzing through some handy counterexamples? There's going to be a true or false style question, and it'll be good to have on hand a dozen or so likely-to-come-up examples. Stuff like PIDs that aren't EDs, etc. etc.
