Urgh, another late night studying, and another meal bought from a vending machine. But this time I had a brainwave! I would only buy items if they were labelled by a group. So I chose A5 and D8 (hula hoops and a kit kat chunky). Any ideas for other small things to keep me sane tonight? |

In some ways, I can't help wondering if maybe the best thing to do is not to try to keep yourself sane, but to allow yourself to go a little bit crazy. I've been known to find myself having just sneaked out onto the roof terrace (for example) with no recollection of having decided to go there. Ten minutes previously I'd been working steadily in the workroom and then, for no reason as far as I could tell, I'd got up and my feet had taken me upstairs. Whenever this sort of thing happens, I tend to hang around wherever I end up for a few minutes, take a bit of a break, and then head back to the workroom. I don't know if this really helps, but I've taken to letting it happen. |

I can't work if I have the internet. So many ways to procrastinate. This wouldn't have helped you last night but I find going to Tescos to get something to eat which you've never had before helps a lot. Also rediscover the Kinder Surprise. They're awesome. I never appreciated them enough as a child. How are children supposed to enjoy them they're so intricate. They've changed the capsule inside too! It's now on a hinge, these young uns (there I said it) don't know how good they've got it. Also you can make chains out of them. I havn't even mentioned the chocolate or the toys... all for the price of a vending machine kit kat. What were we talking about? |
