OH YEAH THEY COULDN'T STOP THE JUGGERNAUT THAT IS THE CHEAP CD SHOP IN THE ARTS CENTER

It's got another name now, but it's the same setup. I picked up Four Tet's "DJ-Kicks" for a fiver, and had a gushing conv with the storeguy about how Four Tet is uber pro and stuff, and he said that they were getting in some of Hebden's earlier stuff, a post rock outfit called Fridge. Basically it sounds like he is stocking up the shop with some serious tunes.

Ikimashou!!!!

Also Tom, you want to have a lend of the album? It's pretty sweet

That shop is pretty nice, I checked it out today and got a cool album for 5 pounds as well (Miles Davis' "In a Silent Way"). The range of stuff available isn't amazing but you can't really beat that price.

I haven't been in yet either. I noticed it and have been wondering when exactly that was there?

I'll definitely have a browse today.

Given how record stores are doing nationwide, I'd doubt it.

It's amazing, no-one's heard of it and it still makes enough to stay open.

Mergh, I really wasn't impressed by Four Tet's DJ Kicks. Thievery Corporation still have the best DJ Kicks IMO. K&D obviously is classic... Kid Loco's is pretty tight too. I think AnotherLateNight is a better series though.
