Post here if you promised yourself that you would finish your second year essay before you were revising for exams, but still haven't quite finished it. Progress: 85% |

I didn't plan on finishing it before revising (read "learning from scratch") but I guess I could post as well. Progress: 0% |

Yes, I've still got a few pages I haven't actually typed up yet. We'll see how much of that is done by this evening. Sorry I stopped posting for a while, I had internet problems. |

Wow, i never thought I'd be ahead of the game on this but I've completed a draft, and just need to do some chop and changing, add in a few more citations and I'm done. Hey presto 2 copies. Done. That said I've not even done a day of revision yet. I could be in trouble. Most dangerous game in the world: Revise along with Cosmin. |

It must be something quite strange to not have an entry on the OEIS |

I tend to cite while I'm actually typing the essay, rather than leaving it 'till afterwards. It saves a big headache. |

Alex, you so don't have enough data. :P I like 36 as the next number of the sequence (differences are 6,3,2,4,10, differences of differences are -3,-1,+2,+6, differences of differences of differences are 2,3,4). :) |

Yay, I've sort of finished mine. I still have to put the title and subsection headings, list of references etc. and other things I have to find out how to do in LaTeX. It needs proofreading, I've spelled wellordering in three different ways, and I simply won't have time to do everything one would like to do with an essay. Well, I have an essay now. Regarding the exams, it looks as though I'm screwed. I've also got to do the group project part of the Modelling Nature's Nonlinearity assignment. To look on the bright side though, I'll see you tomorrow. Will there be discussion groups or revision cafe during exam panic time? |

If this is down to me, I fear not. A rather serious problem has occurred with respect to sorting out tea and coffee that I shan't have time to sort out until after Friday. It might still happen though, God willing. |

Progress: 100% Nice one Jamie, although this probably wont be solvable by differences. Other factors have an effect which aren't enumerable. I'd predict that 33 or 34 is the next, but it will take a few years to find out if I'm correct. I'll post a forum topic when it happens. lol. Colin: I'd expect revision cafe will be off, but it all depends on ben i guess. I don't think there will be discussion groups either as cosmin has exams all this week. Again Cosmin's comment would be more valuable. |

Progress: 60% (already on 8 pages) I'm afraid Alex is right, no DGs this week because of the exams but I'm planning to get them going at their normal rate starting next week (either on Monday or on Thursday). |

Ouch. How's about this, what was written in the essay stays in the essay. Don't let other people read it like I (and CJ) did. They'll only find mistakes. No mistakes exist if people don't find them. |

I was worried enough when Cosmin and Chris took a quick glance at mine before I handed it in. |

Is it OK to discuss your essay verbally, or will people still pick up mistakes? |

Same here. My dad is very proud as I've never been a very strong writer. He showed my Gamma Function essay to everyone he knew who might understand it. They all said the first page was great... and they didn't understand the rest of it. No one my dad showed it to found the massive grammatical mistakes on pages 3 and 7. Never mind. At least they're proud. I just hope they understand a bit more of this latest essay. |
