The Darkness

Our house this year is so dark, it's a mid-terrace, and faces east-west, so only two rooms get sunlight in the morning, then we see it again in the evening. This makes the house, especially the main living areas, really dark. But, now that it is summer the house also stays nice and cool, genius.

In other news: I'll be married in 13 weeks and 2 days!

I specifically requested that they let me live on the dark side of the corridor (north facing) since I am not a big fan of heat.

We swap rooms every term, due to massive size difference. I'm in a very hot room right now. I've definitely timed it badly. I also hate heat. Despite this I always dress for winter. Not a good combination.

I'm halling it also, and my room is pretty dark and yet, since the accomodation people are still heating up collossal quantities of water we're all quietly poaching in our own juices. :(

On the marriage front, I'd give myself an upper bound of 2 years (I'm still struggling to afford a ring that isn't made of plastic). -double :(

On a smugger note, this friday will mark 4 years of dating the same gal.

Right, I'll use the comb for now, but I might want to try out several pictures before I settle on one. My room gets plenty of sunshine, so it does tend to be a little on the warm side. I don't tend to notice temperature much, so that isn't a big problem for me, but the kitchen is far worse. The radiator is never on - it would be pointless, since whenever the oven's on, it gets really hot even with the window wide open. Considering that was still the case in the middle of winter, imagine what it's like in this weather. Luckily for me, I'm in the habit of spending virtually the whole day at the department, so I needn't worry about that either. By the way, am I supposed to comment that I haven't even got a girlfriend yet, or are remarks like that to be kept off the forums?

CJ, I don't know if you give a damn, but some people find spelling like that a bit hard to read. Not that it's such a big deal, I'm just mentioning it.

Sorry CJ, I don't know why I'm being rude on the forums.

Is that your signature? It seems to contradict the rest of the message.

(unless you're doing this on purpose, but that doesn't seem to be the case :P)

Man, don't rag on his wordflow.

He's a genius with like nine brains- every phrase you read is heavy with the shards of his biletears. Every letter is a sacrifice to the pagan god of pain, oozing lifejuice onto the false messiahs of capitalist society, screaming out each tawdry final second of its forced whoredom before collapsing like an abuse victim, panting out half syllables through their slit-wrist wounds of hate: everything Colin writes is poetry man, don't f*ck with it, ok!

I think I'll try out this picture. Er tom, maybe it's because you were on the forums at 3am (mustn't forget this website's clock is on GMT. You know, it's a little offputting to see an 'upcoming event' in the margin listed as taking place in an hour's time when you know it is in fact just starting), but it's CJ who wrote that poem. I've only been following the forums for a few weeks but I'm getting a bit hooked on them. My post count is going up rapidly. It's just suddeny sunk in - I'M A MATHS GEEK. Something must have transformed me. Possibly Algebra II or the essay.

What? I decided I didn't like the watermelon after all. Here's a pretty little picture. I found it by searching for 'blobs' on Google images. Only thing is, I can't help thinking it looks familliar. Am I just imagining it, or did one of you guys used to use it as their image on these forums? If so, at least I'm not the only one with a poor imagination. By the way, I'm not sure I'll make it to the Dg on time, but I'll try.

There he goes again, just breaking the boundaries of what the masses call 'language'. Your bitter-worded hate-chains can't hold him: he's a genius. Pure and simple.

Colin's got more talent than the rest of you sheep put together.
