A few weeks ago Tom Boardman gave a talk on homology and De Rham Cohomology. Unfortunately by the time he got to the second (possibly more interesting) bit it was 9pm and he sort of rushed through it at a baffling rate.

Dual to this (not Alexander-Spanier cohomology) is our need for feedback. The original idea was to have attendees offer to read up on things and present ad-hoc, plans were thrown around for official mechanisms to link with second year essays and group presentations were envisaged as the norm.
