[Dg]:=<The Faro Shuffle> -A mathemagical concoction

Monday 11th February, 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

In this talk Owen Daniel will actively seek to join together two fields of interest: recreational mathematics, and magic. Owen has been recognised by the Magic Circle as the two time winner of the Blanchard Trophy, and was placed 3rd in their 'Junior Close Up Magician of the Year' competition, at the age of only 15.

This Monday evening, join us as Owen shows the mathematics behind, and the spectacle that is the perfect interweaving shuffle. Magic and maths mesh marvellously (try saying that fast!) in this first time collaboration of WMS and Warwick Illusion: set to include performances, and explanations, with particular emphasis towards the significance of the maths at their heart.

7:30-9:00 MS03, then a magical trip to the pub.
