O.K. so this is partially cos I just found out we can't actually do galois theory yet (the first year guys haven't done fields). But it should also give a real chance for some of the less vocal attendees to speak for a bit and give an uber diverse evening of mathematical joy. Bring any bit of maths you like (however short or long) and if you can explain it: we'll listen. Same time (7:00) same place (MS03), then on for social based fun at varsity! Start: 21:00

Gather round one and all for another evening of maths fabness! The rules are simple: On arrival you will recieve a rather sexy maths armband in red marked "maths loser", to attain yellow ("mathmo") and green ("maths legend") simply complete logic puzzles. Higher ranks must 'supervise' the drinking of the lower orders (you can make them drink any time you like!!) Expect shenanigans of a highly mathematical nature and coprime aplenty. We start out at varsity at nine after dicussion groups then on to top B sporting our rather spiffy attire... Be there or be the cartesian product of | ||
