David McCormick - Revision Guides

I'm a second-year MMath student, and if elected I would commit myself to creating more and better revision guides. Specifically:

- The revision guides have not caught up with the huge syllabus changes to the first and second year modules over the past two years. I would address this immediately and check every revision guide with both the actual lecture notes and the lecturer themselves, so you don't worry about missing something vital. I would also add new guides for all the new modules, including the new Algebra I and II, Geometry and Motion, and Differential Equations.

- Revision guides are really useful, but even better than that would be to have proper typed notes for courses as well. I know there are people out there who type all their notes, and while some courses already have notes, between us we can provide notes for many of those that don't. I'm committed to getting as many of these notes as possible onto the WMS website, where they can benefit everyone. I myself have typed about 210 pages of notes covering Analysis I, II and III, and they'll be first up.

- The current revision guides have a tendency to be somewhat cramped and unclear. I'm adept at using LaTeX and I will make sure they are both readable and useful. They also suffer from being written from one person's point of view, and so I would circulate drafts and make sure the guides really help everyone.
