Our discussion groups are a series of talks or seminars on a whole range of interesting topics, led by students but also by professional mathematicians.
Here's how it works:
The material covered in these groups should be suitable for a second year undergraduate but they are open to all years, including postgraduate. We see them not as doing 'harder' than normal mathematics, but as demonstrating some of the more interesting areas of mathematics that may not be lectured at Warwick.
Discussion Groups are running all year long on Mondays and Thursdays; they are held in MS.04 and usually last from 7:30pm to 9:00pm. Keep checking back on the website for upcoming talks, and contact us if you have anything you're interested in talking about (or hearing about).
